REARTH Earth Push Calculation for Walls

It is an AutoCAD add-on for the calculation of the earth push at walls, that is part of the RROAD software package, for the designing of roads and bridges.
REarth serves to determine the earth’s thrust force on a support line (representing, for example, a retaining wall or drilled columns), with the Coulomb method for non-cohesive soils.

It can work in 2 ways:
1) if the base layer (resulting from drilling) is known, which will represent the slip plane, the corresponding thrust force will be determined,
2) if the base layer is not known, the position of the slip plane corresponding to the maximum thrust force will be determined.

Input data:

1) a DWG file that contains: the line of the transverse profile of the terrain, the overload line and the support line,
2) inner friction angles and for the friction on the back of the wall, the typical weight of the soil.

Output data:

– 2 drawings that contain the representation and angle of the slippage plane (calculated through the Coulomb method), the weight and the center of gravity of the mass of soil that slips, the push and the maximum moment of the soil.
